Kenya Airways and Royal Media Services to Bear Expenses of the Deceased Family

The Pride of Africa, Kenya Airways has come together with Royal Media in offering assistance to the family of deadly Johannesburg accident. The airline has stated in its press release last year that Kenya Airways and Royal Media Services have partnered to meet the costs of repatriating the remains of a family of five that passed away while on holiday in South Africa.


The family of five, two adults and three minors passed away in a tragic accident in Johannesburg, South Africa and the cost of flying the bodies to Kenya, their native country, is approximately 10,000 USD. Kenya Airways and Royal Media Services will meet the costs which “will go a long way in relieving the family of the huge financial constraints” according to Kenya Airways Press release on the website.

Kenya Airways has also passed its condolences to the friends and relatives of the deceased family.

The airline has touched many hearts by this kind gesture that reflects Kenya Airways commitment to its country, its continent, its people and the whole world. Kenya Airways is the national carrier of Kenya and offers direct flights to Nairobi and Mombasa as well as many other regional, domestic and international destinations worldwide.
